Well, them facts... is facts.
How about an honest conversation between a conservative black person (like Col. West or JC Watts) and Jesse Jackson...The liberal black politicians hate their brothers who have not bought into the victimhood mentality that they preach. Condoleeza Rice has a compelling story of growing up in the south and yet her parents raised her to be smart, independent and work for her own success. She became the first Black American woman to be Secretary of State. While Obama is denouncing the racism in America, President Bush quietly took a trip to Africa earlier this year to attend the African first ladies women’s conference with Laura and even Michele Obama was there. I don’t recall hearing much about this trip.
Truth.
” Bottom Rail On Top Now Master “ ,, big payback time . The great uniter my @$$ .
Blacks want to complain that the system is unfair when they are their own worst enemies. Any black child who tries to get out of the ghetto on hare work and education is dragged down by their piers for “acting white”.
Thanks for posting
Bump.
He is of a “depraved mind” (Rom 1:28), as most leftists are.
Make no mistake, “white culture” is a proxy for “Christian values”, another phrase for “God’s Law”.
They hate God’s law. Without understanding that, you will look at their conclusions that a dysfunctional culture is good and a functional culture is bad, and think you’re going nuts.
We have had a “conversation” on white racism for 50 years. Until blacks acknowledge black racism the conversation is over.
My favorite Lonsberry piece was the one that he wrote just after 9/11 about George Bush, titled â
“Oh Captain My Captain”.
I am sick to death of “discussions” about race. How about we take up Judeo-Christian values for awhile.
"What does it mean to be an American."
The sooner we can have THAT discussion the better, because then all the hyphenations drop off, as they should. They are just a tool to divide us, which is precisely the aim and plan of the left, Obama, and the MSM.
One Caveat: Not sure what this means exactly.
We believe that races are equal, but cultures are not,
'Equality' is problematic to relate to reality.
Pop culture, media and America’s education system is also responsible for the destruction of America and damaging much of society. Television, especially commercials, have become unbearable to watch. Last night, I came across another Ad Council spot where the white male was the image of ridicule. Granted, the Ad Council appears to have an agenda where whites and especially white males are rotten but in this one, it was so obvious it is impossible not to criticize. A white guy was on the floor, in the fetal position, of a black guy’s house. The black guy challenged and chastised him for being a drug addict and something about âyou are not going to influence my childrenâ and âI will block you.â It had to do with parents being able to block certain TV content. Imagine an ad where a white suburban family âblockedâ rap music in that context? Come on Ad Council, grow a set!
Whenever I hear ‘conversation about race’ I tune right out because it’s never a conversation. It’s a lecture.
“Conversation about race’ means ‘let’s talk about how racist white people are and the ways they need to change.’
Bump.
Let’s ping all our lists ... THIS is a good one
That’s OK, since chris Matthews has already apologized for all white people. /sarc
Good column, and the comments at his site agree.
I can STILL remember when all the racists lived (ONLY) in Alabama.
