We have persons making national energy policy who likely lack the education in basic electrical theory. I bet if someone presented a Perpetual Motion Generator and asked for a research grant they'd get it. The sudden great idea just about any first year trade school student gets studying electrical trades LOL. The policy makers are also the ones you can't get them to grasp why underground utility primary is a very bad idea.
