how does a third party work in this environment where everything happens at warp speed and our side accepts little less than 99% candidates?I realize that if we give them amnesty long term we lose forever but there is still an interim period where we might reverse all that.And, how long until we need a fourth party?

As long as conservatives act like they have battered wife syndrome, we will continue to be abused and used. No party is forever and when it loses touch with a significant portion of its membership, it is time to form another party. The Tea Party movement can act as the catalyst for such a party.
We are running out of time. There is no advantage to supporting the GOP if it cannot stop amnesty when it has control of the House. Special interests have taken over both parties.

As for me, I’m all out of chances. For what it’s worth, Rubio’s campaign spiel about being a conservative will be the last of the Republican lies I let myself believe. And if you think about it, Rubio’s scam song was pretty much the same one McCain has used for decades during his campaigns—run as a conservative, legislate as a liberal.
I couldn’t agree with you more!!! I wonder how many other voters feel the way you and I do. Can’t some pollster run that one out? IMHO the GOP will be darn lucky if they hold the House and I really doubt they can at their current level of under performance.
And how is the third party going to happen Bob? Who will fund it,how long will it take to get going? What happens in the interim while the dems have 45% and the other two parties split 55%? What happens ten years from now when you are still dissatisfied with the third party since they won’t be 100% pure either and you demand a fourth party. How’s all that going to work Bob,just dying to hear.

I’m really apprehensive about a third party. My worst fear is that by forming one we dilute things so bad that is its all too easy for the left to win. In a case like that we would give just about everything to the dems,my worst fear.
I understand your thinking all too well Bob. If I saw a clear path to winning with a third party I would jump at the chance. I just don’t right now.
