President Obama is calling on federal agencies to use volunteers to accomplish their tasks as part of a larger effort to boost community service throughout the country.

All volunteers will received unemployment, disability and food stamps. The only people getting paid will be union workers, who can afford to pay for all these volunteers.
But of course it’s illegal to work more than 32 hrs/week in furlough. Volunteers not allowed.
Since we are using all of your tax money on useless wars, we need you to provide the services your taxes are suppose to pay for.

i believe that this might also serve to provide an additional avenue for providing “affirmative” discrimination in the employment of large numbers of unemployed minorities who will swell the ranks of federal service. Federal Senior Executives will then be evaluated on their success in meeting these recruitment goals in order to determine their eligibility for bonuses as part of their annual performance evaluations.
You get what you pay for and I bet these volunteers will be paid very, very low...
Haven’t heard them mention the V word since the first election. Thought that they file 13d the whole idea when they realized that volunteers could never afford the expensive cars they’ve been pushing.
If I still talked to liberals I’d be constantly berating them for not volunteering to work for their master.
