This is a joke and I repeat, a show hearing. Just like us, talk is all they can do.
Even if they do have a hearing and expose that this goes all the way to the oval orifice what are they going to DO about it? They have no power and the white hut will deny and ignore it all while they continue on their destructive path.
So what? Kongress can hold all the hearings they want, but two things make all of this irrelevant:
We don't have an honest media (but you knew that) - we have a Ministry of Truth.
The means to remedy that situation cannot be discussed in polite company.

I think it is referring to the scandal of the coverup. The coverup is unravelling.

Lifson, Noonan and several from Townhall.com (Pavlich, Liebau, Johnson) are keeping the new IRS scandal revelations alive, and exposing the previous lies of the 0bama administration regarding this scandal. Hopefully, Congress will be just as persevering as these true journalists.
Add on the completely illegal "leaks" and abuse for political purposes of giving to DNC operatives the confidential information from the tax returns of Christine O'Donnell, National Organization for Marriage Chairman Testifies on IRS Abuses (VIDEO) and even Mitt Romney, many people should go to jail at the end of this Congressional investigation.

Everybody in the beltway is going on vacation in a week. Having a hit and run hearing now will have no impact.
Nothing will happen on the IRS scandal because the GOP refuses to engage Obama directly on the issue.
I fear you are correct. Obama can get away with anything, because the media works for him, and Republicans don’t have any power. If Republicans did have the power, RINOs would do everything they could to destroy it.

The problem with trying to pin this on “rogue agents” in Cincinnati is that once you get outside of DC, the low-level staff aren’t as likely to fall on their own swords to protect Dear Leader. Inside the Beltway, that’s ingrained as part of the job description, but in the rest of the country, not so much.

NSA was supposed to bring this regime to it’s knees. Uh, huh. The more that was revealed about the NSA spying on us, the more the public and members of both parties supported it. Hell, even more than just a few FReepers supported it.

Any of those scandals would have brought any other administration crashing down. But The One gets hit with one after another after another and doesn’t get so much as a scratch. Hell, he’s actually gotten stronger. His skin color makes him invulnerable and untouchable. So, no, there is nothing to be optimistic about these new “revelations.” They won’t mean a damn thing. All we can do is wait for 2016. Then he will (hopefully) be gone and historians can decree him as the greatest president in the history of the country.

You can't even let the IRS thingy play out can you. You've already classified it as a defeat. Look, the media is really bad and we are in a really bad spot. That said, Obama hasn't gotten stronger and more and more people are seeing Obama for what he really is. It's not about the immediate defeat of Obama, it's instead about the long battle.

It shouldn't be about "waiting" until 2016. In 2016 there would be the next Big Government tyrannical candidate just like Obama and the propagandist media would still be in place supporting that candidate.
