(Shrug) I’ve heard folks say (and I’ve read here) that blacks tend to be poor tippers, so what’s changed?

I was a waiter (refuse to use the idiotic term "server") for several years while in college.

Blacks would rarely leave a tip, and even if they did, it was a pittance. 50 dollar dinner bill, and 1 dollar tip from them.

Anyway, it was so bad that my fellow restaurant staffers who were black would REFUSE to wait on black folks. They cheated their own race just as often as they did with whites, but the concept of writing racist notes on the bill takes it to a whole other level.
