I can hear the Black Caucus now: “You bailed out GM and Chrysler, but you won’t bail out Detroit?”

 

I'm reminded of that Chrysler commerical boasting about their ties to Detroit.

I've never understood that. Why - in the name of God - would you want to advertise your cars are built in Detroit?

I'd sooner buy a Ford built in Mexico or even a cheap import built in China parked in my driveway than any POS from Detroit.

Funny thing is that at least two of the cars in that picture are built in Canada.
