4 Zimmerman trial jurors distance themselves from Juror B37

ORLANDO, Fla. Four of the jurors at the George Zimmerman trial distanced themselves late Tuesday from statements that another juror made in a televised interview.

The four jurors issued a brief statement on court stationary saying that the opinions expressed by Juror B37 to CNN's Anderson Cooper on Monday night are not representative of their views.

"The opinions of Juror B37, expressed on the Anderson Cooper show were her own, and not in any way representative of the jurors listed below," said the statement, signed by Jurors B51, B76, E6 and E40.

Juror B37 said the actions of Zimmerman and 17-year-old Trayvon Martin both led to the teenager's fatal shooting last year, but that Zimmerman didn't actually break the law.

The four other jurors said in their statement that Martin's death weighed on them.

"Serving on this jury has been a highly emotional and physically draining experience for each of us," the statement said. "The death of a teenager weighed heavily on our hearts but in the end we did what the law required us to do."

They also made a request for privacy. The court has not released the names of the six-woman jury, which included five whites and one woman who appeared to reporters to be Hispanic.

How do we know this letter is from four of the jurors?

Because it was an official statement released through the Florida Eighteenth Judicial Circuit Court, which knew their real identities.

OYOH, the woamn who was interviewed on Anderson Cooper could have been anybody

Why don’t you just post the actual number?

Because I don't have it.
I'm wanting someone from that community who knows, and can provide a link to the data to give us that information.
I suspect the reason the so-called news isn't giving the number is because it's way down.

Question: HOW MANY BREAKINS Has There Been In THE RETREAT AT TWIN LAKES Since Trayvon Martin ?

It doesn't matter. I presume you are trying to make the case that the shooting reduced the number of break-ins, but you can't separate the influence of the shooting from other factors. The area has received intense national attention, which has probably caused a huge increase in visitors to the area -- reporters, gawking tourists, etc. It may be a gated community, but people can get in if they really want to. Locals are probably concerned about Black Panther types showing up to attack residents who testified, so they are probably paying extremely close attention to strangers. Shooting or no shooting, the Retreat at Twin Lakes is about the last place that any Florida thief wants to visit these days if he hopes to avoid being noticed.

WRONG!
It absolutely matters, and is STRONG circumstantial evidence As for your presuming: First, I am presuming that "Trayvon Martin was GUILTY of the break-ins!"

Second, while your point about "the shooting" is a consideration, YOU CAN SEPARATE the shooting from other factors.
But "LIBERALS" CAN'T COMPREHEND FACTS!
If "the Retreat at Twin Lakes" truly IS a GATED COMMUNITY, then they do control who comes and goes in and out of their community.

What is this?
Some kind of veiled threat?

What?
Do you think that community has any more money today, to fund greater, increased security?
Since it's a GATED COMMUNITY, the local police don't patrol it, but only respond to calls they receive from its residence.
With all the financing that community had to raise for Zimmerman, I'd guess they don't have the security they had BEFORE this shooting happened.

You need to THINK, not feel, your way through all this evidence.

You need to THINK, not feel, your way through all this evidence.

And you need to calm down. I am not the enemy here. Focus your anger on those who deserve it.

Exactly.

Today while surfing the web, I saw that there was a petition to investigate Juror B37.

She probably should have stayed silent. It was a good interview though.

"The opinions of Juror B37, expressed on the Anderson Cooper show were her own, and not in any way representative of the jurors listed below"

Not in any way is a strong statement. It means that EVERYTHING Juror B37 said is disagreed with by ALL of the other jurors. Normally in a statement such as this, one would say that the statements were "not NECESSARILY" representative of the other jurors. Taken at face value, this statement means that B37 was quite an outcast.

I can’t help but think that any ongoing commentary by the jurors is going to be bad news for GZ. Eric the Red et. al. will come up with some “penumbra” in the law that says they can nullify the verdict if there’s “reason to believe” the jury was confused, coerced, blah blah blah. Crazy, sure, but the Left is out for blood. I put absolutely NOTHING past these commies. Ladies of the Jury, shut up!

“..and one woman who appeared to reporters to be Hispanic.”

“He looks Black.”

hmmm. Who’s profiling now? It wasn’t even prompted.

...if I were them I would want some peace and quiet too..they dont want to be in the spotlight and I dont blame them.

Absolutely. They are in a predicament through no fault of their own. We can only hope and pray that they get sufficient protection for their personal safety.

They get death threats every single day...

I don't think we can say that as a fact, at least as of now. But we do know that there are ruthless thugs out there looking to do them harm in their desire to exact "revenge" for their jury verdict.

Regrettably, I don't have much confidence in the Florida state government nor in the media to preserve their anonymity, since "leaking" seems to be a national pastime in recent years.

I've had a friend that's spend thousands of dollars trying to get justice out of the corrupt Florida Judicial System,
and he's had friends throughout the military and throughout parts of the government "that doesn't exist", that all told him I've never in all my military career seen anything like it.

The released statement says no such thing.

Quite true.
The fact however, that 6 American women could come together and agree upon anything in mere 16.5 hours, means that The Age of Miracles Hath Not Passed. Hell, I know women who take longer than that to dress for dinner.

Had to be God working there. At this point we ought to be thankful for the common-sense verdict and not worry about it even if all 6 ladies go into Nude Jello Wrestling with chainsaws.

Did anyone happen to catch the video of the interview of the (male) alternate juror in the Zimmerman case, from the local FOX TV station, parts of which were shown nationally on both Hannity's and Van Susteren's FOX News shows? (E56?) He seemed to be pretty much in complete agreement with B37, even more emphatic about the NOT GUILTY verdict.

Someone tell Bobby Rush, who was just on Hannity, that a black jury member would have still voted not guilty. Rush doesn’t have anything to say about all the shootings going on in his home town Chicago. The old black panther member is totally blind to most about everything.
