“Conceived” is a strange claim. If you didn’t live in Texas most of your life don’t try to claim Native Texan.

I really don't know why you're looking for an argument with me (or with fellow FReeper pallis for that matter).

My essential point is that urban areas of our state are filled with liberals and minorities aren't representative of Texas. True Texas values are found in the vast expanses of our rural areas and the burgeoning suburbs. You stated that "Austin ain’t really TEXAS" in post #71. I concur wholeheartedly. I think we differ only in a matter of degree concerning other cities and whether they embrace Texas traits. I think Smith County is great and the First Congressional District is superb as represented by my choice for Vice President in 2016, Christian, Aggie and Patriot Louie Gohmert.
