1000 to 2000 people in the middle of Manhattan on the Day After is an EPIC FAIL!
I was in the city 2003 when the Yanks beat the Sox for the AL championship.
The impromptu party on 5th and 6th Ave, midtown, was 10x that number, easily. And it was made up of just the people coming out of the bars.
1000 people? Might not have been noticed, except for the news cameras.
Must be getting paid for this...check Craigslists for offers.
