Pittsburgh Steelers center Maurkice Pouncey and his twin brother Mike Pouncey of the Miami Dolphins will both turn 24 in a little over a week, but being as training camps will be starting soon, they decided to celebrate early with a party Saturday night at Club Cameo in Miami.
According to Deadspin, during the party the Pouncey twins were photographed wearing ‘Free Hernandez’ baseball hats as they are obviously showing support for Aaron Hernandez, their former Florida teammate and former tight end for the New England Patriots.
The Pouncey’s recently had their names surface in an article about a 2007 shooting incident that Hernandez might be linked to as they were reportedly with him at a club earlier that evening.

And the Steelers are going to let these homies drag their team name in the dirt?
They should be fined on the grounds of moral turpitude....or just being stupid.
What is wrong with these players? They should just shut up about it and let justice go the course. Tebow should be a role model to the thugs (not all players are thugs, the bell curve applies) in the NFL.
As a Gator, I am disgusted. It seems Hernandez is a murdering sociopath, and the Pouncey twins are just more AA trash.
It certainly doesn’t reflect well on Urban Meyer’s tenure here, even with the two titles.

I wouldn’t have a problem with “Innocent until proven guilty” hats, even though I think Hernandez looks guilty as sin with the info that’s been released.
That’s for sure. I can’t imagine how stupid the Pouncey twins must be. Free Hernandez hats? Maybe they’ll be wearing Free Mumia Abu-Jamal t-shirts next.
I’m pretty much getting to the point where I just don’t care all that much about football, college or pro, anymore....I don’t relate to the guys on the field....it’s Thug City now.

Agreed. I had already given up on pro sports. It seems it’s time to give up on college sports as well. Time can be spent doing better things anyway. Read, volunteer, learn a language, or get a hobby.
This is why I quit watching football long ago. just a bunch of over paid thugs who don’t know anything but violence,rape, murder, and homo sex.
Especially now we are learning what a punk “Johnny Football” is turning out to be.
Now, I see it as a violent sport played by thugs. Many of these morons would be in jail if they weren't in the National Felon's League. It will go the same way as boxing.
