Maybe her own lousy behavior cost her $12 million. Personally, I would not want to be paying a person who treats staff and others in the unprofessional manner she did. I know people like that. No thanks. (By the way, people keep saying the woman who sued her, Lisa Jackson is black. Not true, Lisa Jackson is white) She may feel entitled, and like she doesn’t deserve the consequences of her actions, because she’s a Democrat, but I disagree.

Not only is Lisa Jackson white, but the case she brought had nothing to do with race. And if you read any of my comments at the link I provided you would discover that my biggest objection in the entire affair was that Deen did nothing more than any other liberal does, the only difference was I believe libs mistook her for a southern conservative because of her accent. Robert Byrd used that word as recently as 2001 and did so with impunity. Alec Baldwin, who attacks gays and blacks does so with impunity. The list goes on.

I personally don't think Americans should be punished for using their freedom of speech. I also don't like the selective outrage of the left. But that is the society we live in.
