A new secret justice row broke out last night after The Mail on Sunday discovered that hundreds of thousands of convicted criminals are having their identities protected by police.

I did not go to the link to read the entire piece, but I am willing to bet that they are not releasing the pics because the majority of the perps are scuzzlim immigrants.

In fairness to not releasing the mugshot if there is no conviction, an innocent person could suffer severe embarrassment if they were arrested in connection to a crime (It does happen). However cases like In one well-known case, Derbyshire Constabulary refused to release photographs of two murderers who had fled from an open prison, arguing that they had likely left the area and therefore posed no risk to residents. cause one to re-examine the lack of IQ tests for certain jobs.
