Some jocks can be pretty intolerant. But, some folks who are involved in sports are not totally consumed by that culture and have a bit more self-restraint.
However, the ultra-Liberal, metrosexual/homosexual clique in High School seems to be deeply intolerant, with no self-restraint of any kind. They seek to force their perversion down the throats of others, ruining proms and yearbooks and doing whatever it takes to stamp out all opposition to their ways.
If you’re going to identify a group for scorn, the Glee types may be a better bet than the sports crowd.
Bravo and well put.
Methinks that those that are incredibly angry with me are themselves, closet metrosexuals, maybe.
I agree with your views and that is, more or less, what I was trying to say before coming under a barrage of attacks.
That is, by the way, how some silence any form of critique by making personal insults like my buddy KingMoonracer...
If I look back at my yearbook, the kids in "Choir" or "show Choir" were not looked down upon by the football players. Then it hit me......my high school days are so far gone that we didn't have any LGBT agenda anywhere in sight. Our town was more like "Footloose" with no objection to dancing.
I was not a jock in HS, more a misfit. Jocks were certainly a favored class. I also used to be ambivalent to pro sports but I gave that up due to their grabbing into my wallet, so now I am full anti pro sports. Sports are a symptom of the trashing of US culture.
That said, my wife has watched Glee. I hate just passing through the room when that cr*p is on. I can empathize with wanting to hit something for that.
