House path-to-citizenship ping.” This plus some of the other threads we shared this week tell me that the House bill version of the above will be limited to kids brought here and who grew up here.
That other thread (you pinged us to) saying this didn't surprise me.
This will make it much more attractive to Republicans to vote for/support, or alternatively harder to fight, the compassion card.
Unfortunately the vast majority of that group would vote Dem (if such a bill gets to law) and they will give Obama most of the credit for it.
Hypothetically Rubio might be able to draw some of their votes for his part if he was the nominee, but at what price? I mean what else would he have to promise to give them?
