Of the people who reside here illegally, it is being generous to allow them to stay and to enjoy the benefits we allow them to have. But we DO NOT OWE THEM CITIZENSHIP. Indeed it is a GRAVE MISTAKE to give it out so cheaply.
We don’t owe them the privilege to stay and work here, i.e., amnesty. Citizenship is just the cherry on top.
