Interesting take. I haven’t had cable this year, so I haven’t seen him doing the talk circuit.

The Duke case reversed on the government. So should this trial.

Anyone who has read Dershowitz’s America on Trial is not surprised by his comments on GZ Show Trial.

His analysis of the Scopes Monkey Trial of 1925 probably keeps him off the invite lists of most liberals. A must read

AD is politically liberal....but his views regarding law are often opposite of his politics

The list of people who should be disbarred and sent to prison include Judge Nelson, Angela Corey, Bernie de la Rionda, Benjamin Crump, Natialie Jackson and Darrly Parks (aka “The Scheme Team”). The State of Florida should do what the State of North Carolina did in the Duke Lacrosse Rape Case — exonerate George Zimmerman and discipline these fetid swine of the legal “profession”.

This just might discourage AG Eric Holder from persecuting GZ if he's acquitted. That is, Florida disciplines these legal maggots.

Ninety-nine percent of lawyers give the others a bad name for good reasons.

Dershowitz should talk to his president and ask him why the DOJ got involved. Without their meddling it is unlikely GZ would be fascing murder 2. I wonder if his liberal knoll mind is capable of making the connection.

Fascing=facing.

I would almost call what the persecution (with the help of DOJ and others) is doing "Fascing". :)

It is nice to know that the prosecutor's actions have been so outlandish that even stalwart liberals can smell it.

I’ve been thinking the same thing. It used to be I would never agree with Dersh but now he’s making sense.
I wonder how long the deliberations will be.

As the police chief said “You wanted an arrest and trial and we gave that to you.” However, I’m afraid they’ll get a conviction then all the race baiters, liberals and cowardly republicans will praise the justice system and point out to the blacks that they got their baby backs.
Then after Zimmerman sits in prison for a few years the conviction will be overturned on appeal and that’ll be the end of the sham.

I hope I’m wrong. I’m praying for Zimmerman but mostly I pray the jurors will do what I want them to do. I don’t profess to know what God wants.

Hope there is one person on the jury who isn’t afraid to stand alone and will refuse to vote George guilty on anything. Praying....

Whites and honest blacks should have been protesting just as loud as the race hustlers. If we had been as loud maybe the jurors would have been just as afraid to find Zimmerman guilty. \

When the “white” guys were protesting the Florida recount Jesse Jackson chickened out of his protest and went home.

Harvard Law professor Alan Dershowitz says the prosecutors in the George Zimmerman murder trial should be charged with "prosecutorial misconduct" for suggesting the defendant planned the fatal shooting of Trayvon Martin.

"That is something no prosecutor should be allowed to get away with … to make up a story from whole cloth," Dershowitz told "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV.

Who wants to bet that Angela Corey ordered them to do that?

That too is my guess as to why no decision has yet been rendered. One holdout but which way? That Manslaughter red herring is in there for a reason.

Yeah? Alan, Who's going to STOP the federal Gov't/prosecution's bogus Racially charged, "White Hispanic" witch hunt?

The appellate courts will, if it gets that far. Thankfully, such blatant misconduct would gain no sympathy from the state appellate judges, whose job is to analytically review lower court decisions. Judge Nelson has been overturned before.

The conduct of the prosecutors and judge has been so grossly unfair to Zimmerman that one might think they've behaved outrageously on purpose in order to insure that any conviction will be overturned - just in case the jury ignorantly convicts him. I'm not saying that's the case, as it would seem too cute by half. But if Zimmerman's going to get a rigged trial, we should be glad that the court's bias and misconduct has been so obvious. Clumsily, hamfistedly obvious.

Maybe the fact that they are sequestered does help isolate them somewhat from the MSM and some of ambulance chasing lawyers that know little or nothing about the law.

God Bless A Dershowitz, though he holds a number of liberal views, he is a fair minded man it seems

He also stepped in to help Louise Woodward , was the right thing to do when he did. And NO I am not discussing that case with anybody, so move along.

Just saying that he is a Giant among Democrats, if there is such a thing

Not even of manslaughter?

No guilty of manslaughter verdict from this jury, either, IMO.

From what I've heard about the backgrounds of the jurors, I can't believe all 6 of them would be dumb enough to vote guilty on either charge.

But one or two might follow Gay's insistence that they "use their hearts" instead of applying the law to the facts.

That's why I'm praying for total acquittal, but expecting a hung jury.
