Never once heard of a rape charge that stuck made by a wife.
I suppose it might be somehow possible but I haven’t heard of it. A jury would have a hard time with that one.

There was a case in SC where a future ex-husband called his soon- to- be ex wife and asked her to come over to get some belongings. She did and was tied down and raped over several days. I believe he even videotaped it. He was not charged with rape because, according to how the law was written, wives were property. This was changed very soon after. This was in the late 1980s?

i don't know about convictions, but i know the law is on the books and men will still have to jump through all the same hoops as if they weren't married if the wife lies on them
