The A380 has strange noises on take-off. Very noisy landing gear...etc. Just an observation. I've only flown the A380 once (14 hours..daylight flight) and didn't notice anything unusual.But then,I wasn't listening for anything.

Hydraulics for the landing gear on several Airbus models (320, 330 & 380) often seem very loud and “different”. This is from an old helicopter pilot who listens to ALL noises on aircraft.
(except rock or rap “music” over the entertainment system)
