I see no blood stains on his clothing. One would expect this if the gunshot entered his front torso while he was on top of Zimmerman.

Pretty sure that the bullet smashing the heart shuts down the blood-flow, so any leakage would have been internal to the would. There is no pump pressure to move the blood outside of the body. Any minor spray would have been stopped by the inside of t-shirt/hoodie the criminal was wearing.
