Yes. All part of a century-long plan. When you can declare yourself to be something you're not and government obliges society to go along with your lie, only chaos can result.
Chaos first, then tyranny.
As Orwell so clearly says in 1984, “Freedom is the freedom to say that two plus two makes four. If that is granted, all else follows.” The corollary of that is is statement, “In times of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.”
And now we can fully understand what he was talking about. We have entered an age where historical records of obvious truth can be altered to state definite lies. Thus, records become meaningless.
We are witnessing the actual creation of the “memory hole.” It will only get worse.
