Kennedy was a very vocal Hitler and Nazi supporter. Churchill sent a message to FDR that if he didn’t remove Kennedy Churchill would have him killed.

Kennedy was also a coward, leaving London when the diplomatic corps was staying in town with the Royals and Churchill.
He wore out his welcome both with the Brits and State Department pretty fast.
