Good. I was thinking the idea was straight from the DOJ. It would have been automatic grounds for appeal, I think, since the defense never had time to prepare for that charge.

There is a growing flash point now on whichever side wins or loses. If Zimmerman is convicted after all of this nonsense, he will be viewed as a political prisoner. If acquitted the usual suspects, abetted by the MSM will try to incite violence. Let’s hope the jurors have the courage to acquit.

Indeed. Team Eric WithHolder is very upset about this. He’s been working on this for months, gathering case law like crazy!

Then, a lot of excluded evidence that didn't fit the BHO/Holder/DOJ narrative would have to be allowed in as part of the defense.

TM was no 12-year-old kid at the time of his last poorly chosen deed.

When the defense attorney was arguing against it, she kept looking at her laptop like she was reading something. I wonder what was on that screen...
