No drug, alcohol testing done on crew after crash
POLITICO ^ | 07/10/13 | Kevin Robillard

U.S. authorities couldn’t perform drug or alcohol tests on the four pilots who were aboard Asiana Flight 214 when it crashed at San Francisco International Airport — a lapse that will complicate efforts to figure out why they were seemingly unaware that the plane was coming in too slowly and too low.

Those were the latest revelations Tuesday from National Transportation Safety Board Chairwoman Debbie Hersman, who said her agency and the Federal Aviation Administration couldn’t legally requirethe crew of the South Korea-based airline to submit to testing after the crash. That decision is left to the airline’s home country.

“The U.S. does not have oversight responsibility for Asiana or for foreign-license pilots,” Hersman said.

Instead they groped the genitals of 100 more American
children and good looking women.

The GIRL SCOUTS would do a better job of defending the
country.

So if a foreigner crashes their car and kills someone in the U.S. the police can’t demand drug or alcohol tests???

I don’t buy that.

Also, did the pilots refuse to be tested? If so they should be refused entry in the U.S. from this point on.

An accurate urine test most probably couldn’t have been done to the type of landing and they sure can’t get one from the aircrew’s underwear.

Hey, if they wanted to collect fecal samples, all they had to do was recover the seat cushions from the cockpit.

This would be an instance where forced urinary catherization and venous phlebotomy would be justified.

Most likely a combination of inexperience and perhaps mechanical failure. If substance abuse was involved I believe it would be the first commercial airline accident ever because of pilot drug use.

At this juncture, I just hope that they’ve been detained and will not be able to leave the country until the investigation is complete. The good news is it is unlikely that they are Muzzies, which will facilitate keeping them here.

Hersman is a media whore. There isn’t a camera she hasn’t posed for. She spends her days talking on TV, trying to be popular.

Just tell them, you want to land? You follow our rules.
