I’m just hoping they delay giving it to the Jury until Friday or Monday. Mrs Zippo and the youngest are leaving for a European vacation where they should be safe from her lousy sense of direction. That has had her wandering bad neighborhoods on multiple occasions.
Actually, I don’t think Houston will see much in the way of racial disturbance. Everone I know has a CHL and will be more heavily armed than usual for the next week or so. Guys that usually carry a derringer are switching back to the 1911 with multiple mags, adding a shotgun in the trunk, or sliding a modern sporting rifle and multiple mags under the pickup seat.
Bottom line is I don’t know anyone who is willing to be the next Reginald Denny.
Not me, that’s for sure.
