There is specific Fla law that allows parents of the victim to be present. This was argued before opening statements. Seems all wrong, but it is "legal."

He used the fact that TraydDad saw all the testimony to gaslight him into admitting Lil' St. Skittles spent time in the Juvie and had run-ins with the law. IOW, Defense twisted that little loophole to their advantage.
