He didn't “lose” 1.6 billion. It was stolen. Corzine who was legally responsible testified under oath that he had absolutely no idea what happened to the money. Corzine committed perjury in addition to grand robbery.
Investors literally had their money stolen. The Obama Administration says that it is ok.
Corzine (one of Obama’s money men) was a fat juicy target for Romney and he ignored it. “Why hasn’t this man been indicted, Mr President? Is it because he worked for you? Raised money for you.....” If the situation was reversed Obama would have attacked Romney again and again.
