The thing you don't realize when you buy that "cheap" manufactured product from China or elsewhere, you have to buy it twice, once form the Chinese and again thru paying taxes for welfare of the laid off US workers 90% of whom were non-union to begin with.

I agree 100%.

I used to be something of a free-trader. Not anymore.

Now China is a larger exporter, than America. And growing.

We have exported so many American manufacturers, now we import everything.

It is time to say enough. Bring back US jobs, and start making laws to protect US jobs.

Stop giving away the store.

Steel is not a good example. Most manufacturing in the USA is done by non union workers. Only 10% of manufacturing is done by unionists, the other 90% by non union workers.

Free traders are like vampires who don’t know when to stop sucking the blood and thereby killing the victim. If they had stopped half way they would have a steady supply of blood and would not have to go out on the hunt every night. But like the vampire the free trader can’t resist slave labor and is killing the host nation - the USA.
