I kill everything that’s in the house with the exception of daddy longlegs. Those I try to capture on a piece of paper, and do my best to deposit them outside on a bush. Other than that, I am ruthless. :)
I also spare the ladybugs.
The daddy longlegs live in our garage. They’re nice an cozy in there during the winter. I love spiders.
I also rescue the ladybird beetles because they are fierce predators of plant-destroying insects.
The apple-maggot beetles, not so much. They’re horrid little things, and they stink. The smell is slightly apple-like since they feed on apples, but it’s strange and “off” somehow.
