It's so easy to tell the opinion of the journalists in these story because any bill opposing abortion is labelled "extreme" and "restrictive" that "punishes" women, etc. while pro-abortion legislation is "expanding coverage" for "women's health" and championing their "rights".

In a just world, the terminology would be just the opposite. Bills like Texas' would be "defending rights" and "protecting children's health" while pro-abortion bills would "punish" children and be considered "extreme".

Wow...if a woman’s right to kill a 20-week old fetus is your number one, two, and three issue (as the woman at the end of the article quoted) you are one sick person.

"We have a very credible case to make that if you care about women's health, if you care about a woman's right to choose —that's your number one, number two, number three issue, you need to invest in governor's races," Smith said.

Hmmm... If one cares about womens' health, he or she will oppose abortion as it raises breast cancer risk sixfold according to a recent Indian study. Actually the correlation has been suspected for decades.
