Does the Egyptian army use shotguns for crowd control or did the Muslim Brotherhood actually fire the shots?
Last I looked, the Egyptian army used AR variants.
I’m still a little cynical about the BBC reporters observations but he said he saw soliders shooting at the crowd after they fired shots in the air.....he used the words...
“leveling their weapons” and “shooting”. Were they MB in military uniforms maybe “moles” who were supposed to shoot...pure wild speculation on my part???????
He did not describe the weapons they used, but noted after the shooting continued for a time, they switched to using tear gas.
