I first read about this on "The Blaze" and the event came off today without a hitch.

“If you’re Muslim, Jewish or atheist you’re forced to hear this, and that’s not American,” Suzay Cross said. “As long as they focus on patriotism and not religion, it’s not too bad.”

Moron. She has a right to not listen. And she wasn't forced to hear it. She has the right to go somewhere else. Unlike the children in public schools that are *forced* to listen to the sh1t she believes in.

If it's about patriotism it's not *too* bad. Love your snotty attitude Suzay. Elitist jerk.

I was there. It was fantastic. A WWII Vet spoke and was quite a powerful speaker. The beach was blanketed with people in chairs. It was a proud 4th of July!

1500 people is a LOT of people for an event in little Delaware.

That is actually about equal to the entire year round population of Rehoboth Beach.

Rehoboth was founded as a Methodist Camp Meeting ground by the Rev. Adam White in 1873. Four years earlier, Rev. White helped to found Ocean Grove, NJ in 1869,a Methodist Camp Meeting Ground just south of Asbury Park, NJ. Some of you may have attended events and concerts in the Great Auditorium there, built in 1894, that can seat about 2500 people.

Up until Tuesday, the permit was still being denied for the beach event. Pastor Dekker was on the Glenn Beck’s radio show on Monday, and Fox and Friends on Tuesday(?). There was a LOT of pushback from local Christians, churches and pastors, and lots of local patriots, including yours truly, and made things uncomfortable for RB.

The reason for denial was the separation of church and state and was a red herring, and completely wrong.

Glad to see so many came out to RB to support this event.

I was at the Circle in Georgetown,DE, where four GOP DE state senators read the entire Declaration of Independence, including the names of those who signed the document.

About 50 people came out.

Small town America is the best! Happy Fourth of July to all!

IDIOTS! OUR REPUBLIC WAS FOUNDED ON THE FREEDOM TO OPENLY WORSHIP. OUR GOVERNMENT IS BARRED FROM SANCTIONING ANY RELIGION BUT IT DOES NOT REQUIRE NOR DOES OUR CONSTITUTION DEMAND FREEDOM FROM RELIGION. My only solace is that these enemies of GOD will pay for their sins... and maybe I will pay for mine... but I love GOD and they hate GOD. I am truly sorry for my sins... they do not believe in sin. I pray for forgiveness and salvation... they pray to obama and the state.

Hudson organized the rally after the Rev. Robert Dekker, senior pastor of New Covenant Presbyterian Church, was denied a permit to hold eight Sunday services at the Bandstand.

"For a normal service, we'd have 25 or 30 people," Hudson said. "It's just great to see people come out and support your civil rights What is more personal than your right to worship and believe according to your own rights of conscience?".......

Another Presbyterian Rebellion?

We recently visited the Eastern shore of Maryland to feast on crab cakes for a few days.

There was a T shirt, “I’m not from Maryland, I’m from the Eastern Shore”

There was also a “Don’t tread on Me” bumper sticker with the rattler replaced with a menacing blue crab

The traffic across Maryland to Rehoboth was fearsome

I think the only decent restaurant left there is Grotto Pizza and that’s not even saying much. Everything else is poofter food.
