There were some good places in NYC for pizza, when I worked there, back in the 70s and 80s. Each joint had 5-10 Goombahs right off the boat, who made KILLER deep-dish Sicilian. I always got *everything except anchovies*, and they cringed. Mama mia, that's a crazy meatball!

I'm listening to Mark's replay, since I got in late. My Jeep's AC went warm on the way home. Dad was following in his new MB. What a sweet luxury car. At 89, he's got a 4" thick Owner's Manual to read and study, and learn all the electronic gadgets & gizmos in that thing. Boggles the mind all the doo-dads & doo-hickeys they got in them now!

I had a MB '55 300SL Gullwing back in the early 70s, in Miami; crude but very fast. It was a people magnet, too. It drew crowds, not only at the Concours D'Elegance Shows, but everywhere I drove it. No AC and it was afall-winter-spring ride. Too damned hot in the summers.

Also had a MB 300SL Roadster Convertible; much more refined touring and not quite as fast. It was my personal Show cars in Miami, along with 300SL Gullwing Coupe at numerous Concours Events and track days at Homestead AFB during organized and sanctioned events on the runways. We scrubbed-off a lot of rubber on those runways at 180-190mph in Vintage Events. The blew most of the field away. Heady days and years. If I told you what I bought them for, cost of restoration to 96%, and them sold them for, you'd have to be laying down on a gurney, strapped-down.

Very very cool cars. Wish I still had my mid life crisis cars from my late 20's, a 633 and 733. Now I got the first new body 2000 Suburban with less than 75K miles on it, shows you how little I drive anymore. I like to swipe Mrs S's Boxster for chores when she's so often out of town.

Clint Jr in my 6 at the old orchard way back when.

I’m trying to upload 5 pics of a one-of-a-kind BMW 335 CS V8, which I built at AJ Foyt’s shop in Houston, in 1977, and shipped back to NJ for assembly and testing, but I can’t get the ‘bulk load’ pics I drag & drop, to appear in the library/albumn space. Never saw the ‘bulk drag & drop’ panel option before. Was always a drop-down menu to get into my folders/files and retrieve a single pic. I also have Dec ‘78 Car & Driver, BMW Roundel magazine, Road & Track and Autoweek mags’ stories, but no scanner.

Any suggestions?

Open another PB acc’t and try again? Try another host service?

This 335 will blow you away... but pics are from 35mm slides and re-shot w/ my digital camera, so all effects aren’t as sharp as originals.

Small-block V8 220ci (3.5 liter), blueprinted, balanced, decked, honed, line-bored, cc’d heads, Stahl headers, dual exhausts, Manley valvetrain, Holley 600 cfm carb, Isky cam = 675bhp race motor, and had a 525bhp street motor, mated with Borg-Warner T50 5-speed tranny, 90% locking limited slip rear, 3:91 gears, top end 195 (I broke 3 speedo cable at 196 at Watkins Glen), Pirelli P7s on 3-piece BBS racing wheels, 14kt gold annodized BMW nose, all black, 335 on rear. Quite a storied competition between me and BMW. I forced them into V8s for the US market, by shaming their current and future lines w/ Yankee ingenuity, ala Carroll Shelby Cobra.

I’ll try another PB acct tomorrow; getting too late tonite.
