“If President Obama wants to make changes to ObamaCare, he must come to Congress,” Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) said on Wednesday.

“Two years ago, the Obama Administration, through a memo from a Homeland Security Department bureaucrat, declared it would not enforce our nation’s immigration laws. Now the Obama Administration, through a blog post by an Assistant Secretary in the Treasury Department, is declaring it won’t even enforce its own health care law on employers. We live in a Constitutional Republic. We are a nation governed by laws written by Congress, not memos and blog posts written by bureaucrats,” King said. …

If anyone wondered why he gave all this to HHS now you know.

Obama is going to deny any knowledge of this and blame Sebillious.

>> He is not the King who can phone in his edicts from Africa.

Of course not. But I swear I saw that headline as “If King Obama wants to change the health care law...”

... and it didn’t seem surprising. What have we come to?

Congress is the only body that can originate bills of revenue. Roberts ruled that the individual mandate is a "tax". King needs to either overturn the individual mandate, or set the "tax" to zero.

If the employer mandate delay goes to the supremes and they push it back to the House, then the house needs to tie the employer mandate to the individual mandate when it votes to nix it.

I'm glad King is saying something. Except for Cruz, the rest of the GOP has been awfully silent today.

That reminds me, has 0bama rescinded his illegal appointments to the NLRB yet? Two Federal courts ruled his appointments unconstitutional but I believe he’s taken no action resulting from their decision.

“...Can’t get a repeal through the senate? Then just defund, defang, defrock the damn thing!...”
-
Yeah, sounds good, but they can’t get that through the Senate, either...
and then, the low-information-voters,
abetted by the main-stream-media,
would blame the House for the government-shutdown.

We are federales.
Budget?
Budget?
We don’t got no budget!
We don’t got to have no budget!
We don’t got to show you no steenkin’ budget!

(hmmm...government shut-down...I happen to like the sound of that.)

all that spying on those in the US Congressional bodies is sure paying off for the obozo, he can do whatever the eff he wants and he gets it and then some. This government is severely broken for the people it no longer serves. It is SO CORRUPT that it only enforces the laws that benefit it and those who own the politicians. So much for leaving our kids and grand kids, and the world for that fact, a free country. If it ever gets restored it will have to be from the hand of God.

This is the latest and most egregious violation of the Constitution. It doesn’t even rise to the level of political philosophy.

It exceeds by lightyears what Nixon did in Watergate. This is about pure pwer and corrupting the entire electoral process with a lie.

Well, we’re in desperate need of a constitutional crisis. The president cannot spend money that is not authorized by the congress and he’s running the nation into the ground with his Marxist agenda. We need some patriots with cajones to step up to the plate. Cruz, King, Sessions, et al, where are you? It’s been a long time since we’ve heard any patriotic voices in the senate. We need a constitutional rebellion!

Can’t get a repeal through the senate? Then just defund, defang, defrock the damn thing! The Republican controlled congress should put a $$$ lock on it and on Obama.

I disagree, we need to go Alinsky on them. Demand that they follow all the rules and comments that they made. The exact same coverage that I have now, the same doctor, and less cost.

When they can't deliver in time for 2014 keep pounding it.

Show commercials with him and the DemoncRATS making these promises and then the excuses why it is not in place. At the end the tagline is "How can we trust him/ them with anything ever again?"

Well, hell’s bells, Jim, we’ve already got a damn constitutional crisis.
It’s just that not enough of the right people seem to notice or care about it.
You think we could turn out several million in the streets like the egyptians just did?

Actually, he can do anything he wants.

After all this time, it’s blatantly apparent that no one is willing to try to stop him.

No one is more oppose to Obamacare than I am, but during the passage of this monstrosity, there was precious little allowance for debate. The conservative voices, such as they were, had reservations concerning the effect of this legislation on small business, jobs, the economy, and health care itself. But they were shut out. There was little debate, very few public hearings. Quite the contrary. It was rammed down our throats using every possible parliamentary trick available to the libs. They didn't want, nor allowed any contrary voice to be heard. In typical elitist fashion, they knew what was good for us, and the opposition be damned. They wouldn't even allow for the damn thing to be read. It had to be passed, and it had to be passed quickly. Now they see the potential train wreck a coming. I say, if Obama wanted to get into this bed so badly, not only get him into the freakin' bed, but tuck him in so tight that he would tear a ligament trying to loosen the covers.

This is his tar baby. At the risk of using racist language, I say stick it to him.

S. King doesn’t have to do anything.

If the companies don’t comply the and provide health care as required by law, the employees can sue the company.

They may not have to pay a penalty to the govt for not complying but if they don’t want to get sued they will comply and provide health care.
