Hopefully, the Egyptian military (whom I have believed held the real "cards" the entire time, and whom we all hoped would ultimately stop the Muslim Brotherhood madness) will establish the interim governance they have planned, and return sanity, and a chance for a peaceful life to Egyptians...instead of the terror assocaited woith the Muslim Brotherhood fanatics that Obama helped bring into power.

With any luck, some protege of Hosni Mubarak in the Egyptian Army will take over. Whatever his shortcomings, he would still be a vast improvement over continued anarchy, or having some Islamist even more radical than Morsi running things when the dust settles.

10:37 AM EDT: Egyptian state TV says to expect an army statement as soon as its meeting with religious, political and youth groups end.
Don't know if you caught it yesterday, but one of the opposition leaders was being interviewed on FOX, and was asked if he was planning on running for president. He explained that he was a Christian, and the constitution banned him from running. Wonder how man y knew that?

If Herr Obozo is still in Africa, he should stop off in Cairo without his teleprompter and mediots and work the streets, telling the Egyptians what a wonderful guy he is.
Then, he can leave Valerie Jarrett there to patch up things or to become another lost one like Ambassador Stevens.
