It takes an enormously self-restrained gentleman not to break the jaw of someone making such a statement.

Certainly there have been times in our history when an assertion such as that would have been grounds for a horse-whipping or worse.

And rightly so.

The natural response should be ..What a shame your mother didn't believe like you, you could have been aborted. That of course would have been better for the rest of the country. Amen.
