I grew up in Virginia and I can tell you that yes there was a lot of racism there but it is even worse now and it is not white on black but black on white. I was shocked when I went back there recently and saw how things have devolved. I caused a big stir when I ordered a meal at KFC and said I wanted all white meat. The large woman behind the counter looked like she was going to come over the counter and beat me. You could have heard a pin drop in that place. I was informed in a surly tone that I was supposed to ask for all breast meat, not white meat.
It is the same way here with Hispanics, they are sooooooo racist, first against blacks and then against whites.
Huh? Here in Alabama, the black KFC (and Church’s and Popeye’s) workers ask YOU if you want white or dark.
