You will still have to bow before Obama Reid Pelosi - your pure vote does not make you exempt.

Perhaps you like to grovel, but I bow to no man...nor will I be convinced that voting for the lesser of two evils is the right thing to do. When faced with that choice, I will shrug every time.

Now, for a group of Free Market types that we (supposedly) are, why are politics, namely, national parties, to only place where ‘fewer is better’?

Where a field of 5+ candidates can prattle off the same talking points, where is the DEBATE? Where is the NEW paradigm thinking? IE: For all his ideas of Constitutional governance, Dr. Paul was roundly criticized as ‘kook’, if not ignored wholly. Instead we ‘American Idol’ the best looking, best talking parrot of the group.

When 5 States can whittle the field down to 1 ‘viable’ candidate, how does that benefit the Country? How does that benefit the other Citizens; why even worry to vote until the General?

What’s the fix:
- Dismantle the (rigged) Fed election apparatus (what’s the 5% B.S.)
- All donations must be anonymous (some clearing house that can still track, audit every month from general to primary), no per-head-dinners/meet-n-greets/etc. - no idea who gave what = no favors [still fleshing out]
- Allow donations per any entity that can physically cast a vote; no business, no groups. Only People.
- Elections are on same day for all States (no more selection by the minority, no ‘reporting’ until DONE)
- States election wins by majority of districts (cites don’t win State, voting fraud..good luck)
- Maybe no open primaries, still a toss up for me....If, being a (L), what if I like the XYZ party this time?
- Voting/donation fraud = lose of voting ‘right’, prison and fine (100x paid to opposition party??)
- ???

Grovel? You have no clue what a vote really is.

What you are too emotionally invested in is your hatred of the GOP e - and that childish tantrum mentality won’t let you admit that you WILL grovel, in effect, to the statist government. Sorry, reality sucks sometimes, but even more so for those who refuse to admit it.

We both despise the GOPe - the difference is, you let that dominate your thought process. I don’t. As bad as the GOP e is, even Kennedy did the right thing on Voting Rights and property rights last week, and even Boner is looking like he’ll do the right thing on immigration reform....and NONE of the GOP, the estabs or otherwise, voted for Obama Care. THOSE ARE HUGE HUGE FACTORS.

A vote is not about a grovel. I have no idea who planted that pathetic idea in your tiny little noggin. A vote is a practical option, and sometimes, both options suck. Voting rights, property rights, and Obama Care are crucial to you ever having freedom again. DIsmiss all that due to your infantile rant at your own peril.

I see a pattern of irrationality here. You can't successfully argue the merits of supporting GOPe socialists as the lesser of two evils.

Instead, you engage in personal attacks. Just waiting for Godwin's Law to kick in.

After all, my working theory right now is that the GOP is a dead man walking and whichever side of the fight possesses its body gets all the parts that come with the body, from state parties to the national apparatus.

Your working theory is akin to the Anglicans taking over the Roman Catholic Establishment in England, during and after H8. It's sure to be as bloody and to last as long!

I don't see any fat cats putting up the war chest. After all, the newly established Anglicans had some frightfully rich people who were rewarded with confiscated monastic property and were going to fight anyone, traditionalist or protestant, to hang on to it.

In our case, those already in the GOP establishment have the money, the jobs, and many good reasons to try and crush us so they can keep their place at the power table. It's why they're Republicans. The Republic be damned. They have sold out to the Democrats in exchange for safe seats and a big cut of the swag.

But OK, deal me in. I'll fight.

That doesn’t mean we can sit on our fat, um, laurels.

The enemy is at the gate here in Utah, it’s inside the wall elsewhere. Go with God my friend. Stand up!
