Pay $8 an hour for picking apples and see what happens IF no serf labor undercuts the market. No one will apply. It’s hard work and a living can’t be made at 8 an hour

About 20 an hour. They will cry that prices will rise. Why? Because imported serf labor over the years has short circuited finding efficiencies.

Second, if Dad, Mom, and son are working for $8/hr ($24/hr) that is a livable wage.
