First they forced gay adoption on us while claiming that any (gay single) parent is better than no parent for a child. My mom actually bought into this but I never did..
But now you see how that works. Now it is bad for kids to have same sex parents who are not allowed the benefits of marriage, the fix is to force the government (our taxes) to give them those same benefits, as opposed to stopping adoptrion by gays (as most other countries do). Family values.

The GOP House paid for the Defense of DOMA and from what I tell their defense was pretty lame, especially compared to the plaintiffs arguments.

The ONLY valid defense of DOMA against the challenge that it hurts people by discriminating against them, is to show how gay marriage hurts people and hurts society and HURTS kids.

Where was the case that gay adoptees hurts those same kids married or not?
