Bottom line is, they have to factor in the gun above all. Its mere presence in the equation is undisputed. All of my training & experience over the years has constantly been full of reminders that as long as that thing sits on your hip, it increases the gravity and life-threatening potential of any confrontation, especially a physical one, because the closer a subject is to you physically, the greater the chance he/she has to potentially wind up using your own gun against you.
That’s ultimately how we must try to explain Zimmerman’s resorting to shooting Martin to the brainless Traybama lynch mob, and to those on the fence. There mere fact that the gun was present meant Zimmerman’s life was that much more threatened.
After the first few prosecution witnesses appeared all the talking head lawyer types start prompting the idea of manslaughter. I wonder why???

A big KKK thing was when demon-rats would show up at the jailhouse in mobs demanding the accused black criminal (n-word) be racially executed. He was guilty due to the color of his skin, and no trial was necessary.
With democrats (for kicks, now they call themselves “progressives”), the more things change, the more they stay the same.
