NSA Surveillance Database: Backdoor to a National Gun Registry?

NSA Surveillance Database: Backdoor to a National Gun Registry?

The New American
01 July 2013

A large group of mostly Democratic U.S. senators penned a letter to National Intelligence Director James Clapper (shown) asking if the NSA had created a national gun registry by keeping all electronic business transactions in a permanent database. And the NSA just might have done this, contrary to existing law.

The 26 senators stated in the June 27 letter penned by Ron Wyden's office:

We are troubled by the possibility of this bulk collection authority being applied to other categories of records. The PATRIOT Act's business records authority is very broad in its scope. It can be used to collect information on credit card purchases, pharmacy records, library records, firearm sales records, financial information, and a range of other sensitive subjects. And the bulk collection authority could potentially be used to supersede bans on maintaining gun owner databases, or laws protecting the privacy of medical records, financial records, and records of book and movie purchases.

When do we start firing on Fort Sumter?

Of course they did. But they will have weasel room because they will have disassembled pieces of info (wink, wink) and not a full database. Thus, they will deny that they have a database of gun owners.

Obviously, this is NOT completely accurate.

The NSA ignored the weapons of both Hasan and the
Boston terrorists, and of course the warnings re: each.
They were just destined to be: Obama and Holder-planned
“workplace accidents”.

Its meta data. Massive data of no pattern. That means that if they want a list of guns in a particular area, just search by area, and gun registration phone calls by dealers matching address to phone records.

2 minutes later, the Gun Confiscation lists start pouring out of the line printers with name, address and serial numbers.

So under questioning they will say no, but nobody will ask the question can they generate one.

Lets see, a June 27th letter. When will it be answered? Will it ever be completely and truthfully answered. I know but I like asking silly questions.

The question to be asked is: Does the NSA store meta data that could be used to produce a list of firearm owners?

The NSA system can handle this gun registry with ease and nothing to stop the communists Democrat King Obama from using it. Easily download all gun registration in any State.

So under questioning they will say no, but nobody will ask the question can they generate one.

No one will ask two more questions:

1.) Has it been done?

2.) Who has access to it?
