Subject: Congressman Goodlatte town hall meeting tomorrow night! Large turnout needed!
Dear Supporter,
I hope you're doing well! Sorry to those who have already received this! We just received word that the Congressman will be hosting a town hall meeting TOMORROW NIGHT in Lynchburg! We must pack the room with supporters of Comprehensive Immigration Reform!
WHAT: Lynchburg Town Hall Meeting
WHEN: Tuesday, July 2 from 6:30 p.m. 7:30 p.m.
WHERE: Lynchburg Public Library 2315 Memorial Avenue Lynchburg, VA
Can you attend and ask him important questions about immigration reform? Please let me know- I will send out some talking points for those who can attend! We will also be meeting outside the library at 5:30 to prepare and make sure we are all on the same page!
Our important messages are that we want:
Comprehensive bill with a pathway to citizenship. Family reunification- families should be together. An estimated 4 million immigrants are waiting in line now and should be reunified with their families as soon as possible!
Worker protections
No enforcement measures that will violate due process-- our local police should be working with our communities and not against them!
A large turnout is extremely important-- please share with friends!
In solidarity,
Emily (804) 513.5401 703 Concord Avenue Charlottesville, VA 22903-5208 (434) 984-4655 (434) 984-2803 fax
Congressman Goodlatte (R) VA is the Chair of the House Judiciary committee. His committee will hear any amnesty bill, so he is getting extra attention on this and other issues from the left!
This has manipulation all over it. They’re pulling out all the influence stops!
What kind of turnout would they expect the week of Independence Day. People take the week with a 4 day weekend.
Goodlatte can handle this btw.
