My take on Mr. Gowdy is much different from yours. He stressed Border Security first, addressed the issue of the various groups that make up the 11 million illegals. He is working on multiple smaller bills as opposed to an Omnibus pork laden monster that many long serving congress critters would prefer. And yes, we do have de facto amnesty - that is simply a fact of life - like California and Massachusetts being left wing
This entire immigration scam is being shoved down our throats just like the Stimulus, Obamacare, and other outrages. It's an "emergency", no?
These contain thousands of pages of new law and centralization of powers nobody who votes for reads or cares about. In fact, that's the beauty of it all. They can make it up as they go along. The important thing to them is they increase the noose of tyranny even tighter around the gasping necks of those Americans who will not bend to their will.
One can only hope and pray enough Americans will see through the scam in time to do something about it before we are all strangled and left dead on the ground for the circling vultures to pick over.
Watching MTP talking about gay marriage decision this week. Jim DeMint and Ralph Reed against all the other crazies.
Ralph Reed reminds everyone of all the “intolerant” democrats (to include Obama just 14 months ago) who were against gay marriage. Were they full of hatred?

Rep. from Kansas is proposing a Constitutional amendment against gay marriage. (Huelskamp). The court has taken it upon itself to rewrite the Constitution. David Gregory says children tend to prosper where there is a loving marriage. Research doesn’t back you up.
Huelskamp says research does not say that. Says court has said the desires of adults trumps the needs of child.
Rachel Maddow looks very uncomfortable.
That really pissed off the crazies.
Huelskamp says the argument on gay marriage is not over. The public’s view on abortion has changed over time. This should be up to the people to decide.

Yep! May have been good advice a few years ago, but not any more. We've seen how our loyalty has been rewarded by POS like Boehner, Ryan, McCain, and McConnell. Rush wants to stick by the party and be a team player...well he can go right ahead. I'm done being associated with the “Stupid Party.” Let them stay in power with all the illegal votes they sold themselves out for. Let them pander to their precious moderate/independents.
Without the conservative base, the GOP is done. Makes me happy to know my last form of political power (voting) will spell the end of the GOPe and all it stands for.
I voted for my last RINO this past election; no more! When Romney couldn't bring himself to criticize Obama over Benghazi in the last debate, I knew I would never ever vote for another POS RINO!

Trey Gowdy on FOX - moved almost to the point of tears with Schumer’s concern with the Republican party’s future. lol.
We are closer to the will of the people (House is). More interested in getting this right vs. doing it to Schumer’s et all’s schedule.
Interviewer asks - What about pressure from groups who want it? Gowdy responds he can’t sell border security plan where Napolotano gets to decide whether it’s secure, where border security comes after legalization, where border security objectives gets turned off and on based on.... (?)
