I’ve failed to see a road to success via a 3rd party, until recently. I’m not ready to jump until the House betrays us on immigration but at that point, what more to lose?

I’ll go Freedom Party.

Crony capitalism. Government at all levels controls about 40% of our GDP. We are on the road to fascism.

It also hurts me that the ones that get through are taken from me and I am expected to provide all the wonders of fatherhood when I can not even see my child.

This is not a womans right.
I am so sorry, there are 3 here, not one.

0bama is rewarding his supporters and punishing his enemies.

Time to throw some 0bama lackies in jail-demonstrate consequences of fidelity to 0bama instead of the US Citizens

I say we continue to build the party.
Ted Cruz has been a breath of fresh air.
Weed out the McCains and the politically expedient self servers.
Running divides us.

de facto amnesty. The Reps have sold their souls for more guest workers.

Hell with that!

We need a Bounty...the quicker picker-upper.

Exactly!!! I agree!!!
The Government should not force any such matters.

Therefore, cut the Federal Government back to Constitutional defined roles.

Progressives and Leftist do not decide which Govt intrusions are good and allowed, and which Government intrusions are forbidden

I’m with you and Chiller.

The House betraying me on this amnesty will be my final straw.

Everyone has one. The most abused wife in the world has that proverbial straw.

Mine is this immigration thing.

By me, the political class messed it up. We, the country class, gave them rein in 1986 to grand amnesty to then 3 million illegals. They promised us the walls would go up, our borders would be safe, we’ll take it from here.

Now in 2013 we are told....OOPS, something wrong here, we got now ELEVEN MILLION illegals but give us amnesty, we’ll fix the fence now....no wait....yeah, we’ll fix the fence this time.

And we ain’t buying it but of course they don’t understand. They are the political class, folk, they do not understand COMMON sense. Only the common people understand common sense thus I “talk” to y’all over this forum and they mostly don’t understand what I say cause I’m a common sense kind of person.

IE, like yon readers, I understand FENCES AND BOUNDARIES AND PROPERTY LINES AND WHO SHOULDN’T BE ON MY SIDE!

This is an issue that will unite us all and they won’t know what hit them folks.

BTW, in my new book I have been “elected” the scribe of the people. Best thing about fiction, you get be anything you want to be.

I’m outta there if they pass another amnesty program. And now, unlike the Reagan-era amnesty agreement, we got all kind of clues what this political class wants. And obviously they do NOT want to fix the borders, only dolts can’t see through it, no matter how many amendment-tomes they write....by me, they pass that thing, I want nothing more to do with a single one of them.

What we need, if they should ask us fools out here in la-la land who carry this country on our back, is to summon all of American ingenuity and intelligentia. We need a nonpartisan panel to study this immigration issue and we need a national conversation on the matter. It affect every one of us and if the political class pushes this through, hear me out....they will have declared war on us.

It’s nothing less serious than that.

Of course this nonpartisan would begin their report by telling us that the main problem is that the political class of the 19980’s didn’t keep their promise to fix the border and that’s why there’s eleven million immigrants here now needing amnesty.

And, of course, the political class will not admit they did BAD, goodness, we might not elect them again.

For make no mistake, folks, you read it here, the People’s Scribe, they are not Democrat or Republican, they are the political class.

And they are our enemy.

Davis comes off as a selfish liberal feminazi, imho. She could get elected from Austin, but not many other parts of Texas.

And, she's on the losing side of this argument. She's closer to Gosnell than the American populace. Gov. Perry handled her well, too

I read the Senate bill allows these visitors to come out of the shadows.

Heck, they can come out of the shadows right now....and go home.

Further, someone should smuggle Snowden into one of these sanctuary cities

we must rebuild the GOP...blah...bah...blah” Sorry Rush, this strategy has gotten us nowhere.

Well, that's because it hasn't happened yet. The problem isn't the GOP, it's the socialists that are running the GOP.

Therein lies the problem. We seem to have just enough stupid, low-information types in places like Arizona and South Carolina who keep reelecting RINOs.

I hear what you're saying, but how many more times do we have to take it up the posterior? The way I see it, we're getting screwed anyway; might as well have a little self-respect and tell these RINOs to go pound sand! Obama has gotten everything he wanted...and more!

I voted for my last RINO in Mitt. I'm done. The GOPe can go to Hell!

ALL these talking heads miss the point of the Wendy Davis story.

The story here is the MAJORITY think late term abortions are cruel, and the side story is that David Dewhurst is so lame at running the Tx Senate that he allowed the dems to make Davis a National figure.

SB5 should have passed easily on the first pass.
Dewhurst had to be aware that Davis was going to filibuster and that she was organizing rabble rousers.

She was tweeting her intend 24 hrs before the vote, and there is Dewhurst caught flat footed.

I hear you and it is difficult to work in a den of scorpions, but it is also advantageous to actually be in the elected position.

Look at what Obama has done.
He won and he cleaned house, then he stacked the place from floor to ceiling with sycophants.

Romney would have been far superior, particularly if we had stacked the place from floor to ceiling with our people.

I think we agree, Fishtalk.

I blame the culture of govt that thinks it’s okay to subvert the Constitution, to ignore rule of law, whether it’s the NSA recording our phone calls, whether it’s Lois et al targeting their enemies (in this case the Tea Party), whether it’s a SWAT team knocking down doors in the middle of the night using a no-knock warrant as cover to arrest someone for not paying their traffic tickets ( or whatever nonsense they think a no-knock is good for).

IOW, our govt is out of control. It needs to be reigned in on so many levels.

Do you like the guy at all? If so, go. It will be awkward for you at first but go unless he’s a liberal, then don’t go. No sense getting involved with a man who will be too stupid to understand your point of view.

....and I’ll tell you something else.

All morning I’m hearing about this same-sex thing and I understand about the Supreme ruling last week.

I’ll sum as I understand; correct me if in error. The court says that DOMA is unconstitutional-that whether or not to recognize same-sex marriages from other states is up to the individual states.

It’s an argument that kind of makes sense to me.

Whatever the legal nonsense, I know deep in my teabagger heart that the vast majority of this country do NOT want same sex marriage and the political class knows it too.

This supreme court is just another silly thing for the political class to inch closer to forcing it on us as their coffers get filled handily by many homosexuals that entertain us.

My sense, as the People’s Scribe (insert wink here), is that most of us across the fruited plains, do not have the time or wherewithal to debate the matter any more. It’s simply not worth the bother.

Then they wag their fingers and call us names and what? It’s worth being called names over something we decide is not that important.

Collectively, folks, collectively, when I say it’s not important. Dear Lord the IRS is after us, they’re about to open up the borders and flood us...read Kabar’s article...with a cheap work force.

They’ll somehow get around this same sex marriage but it does not mean we all think it’s just a great thing.

We do not.

But throw open those borders boys and girls of the political class. throw them open and flip us the bird on this immigration thing.

The reaction will shock them silly.

I bet already Rubio’s losing sleep over the action he took, however rightful it seemed in his head.
