What’s wrong with LEGAL IMMIGRATION?

Nothing except we currently have an unemployment rate of nine percent and one of the lowest labor participation rates since the 1930s........and we need a larger labor pool?

Damn.....just DAMN!

This is your story Rubio, and you’re too fricken stupid to recognize it.

It’s not E Pluribus Unum.

It’s E Pluribus Unum Mexico

Out of many, one united Mexico

I’m not buying in you ignorant bastard

Previous generations came to the US to assimilate into our country and they did wish to make themselves a burden on Americans so they pulled their weight.

The latest generation comes here illegally, has anchor babies at taxpayer expense so they can stay, enroll in welfare (often several times under several fake identities) and then agitate against America.

It’s not E Pluribus Unum.

It's the Reconquista and Por La Raza todo, Fuera de La Raza nada,” meaning “For the Race everything, outside the Race nothing.”

This ain't your Grandfather's immigration

Rubio has no integrity. He says that he will do one thing, does the opposite and then claims that he did nothing inconsistent.

What he says is meaningless.

Yes, I agree.

I believe you meant to say, “...and they did NOT wish...”

I agree with that specifically.

Out of many, one... true. And the “many” who come here from THEIR countries and wish to live her, need to become citizens and be allowed to come here. Our history of immigration up until post ww2 was one of definitive process for legal immigration, learning of our language (english) and our history and laws.

Such that the legal immigrants definitely do NOT appreciate amnesty with “fining fees” and green cards as the means of doing this. Note that NOWHERE in the “reform” bill is the requirement to learn english, or go through our naturalization processes. Nowhere. This article is a sham, and a sop to those who stand to make millions bilking the illegals even as the illegals rip us off and send their remittances home, and get their healthcare off our backs. No sir.

And here is a quote from the comments section:

“Would you be willing to explain why the quotes from Rubio’s speech in your blog yesterday do not match the actual speech he gave?

Were you given an advance copy of the speech which you just copied and pasted into the document? Because when you type that Rubio “said” something, we would expect that it would actually be something that he said... “

Because, the speech did not match the blog pre-view. This is what PR people do all the time. Jive.

It’s OK Diogenes— we must all continue to search for an honest man. Plato was famous for .... platitudes and descriptions... like that man was a featherless biped. To which Diogenes replied by bringing a plucked chicken to Plato and said “behold, I bring you a man”.

Rubio walked and talked and looked like a duck (conservative) on the immigration. He was and is a schill for much more powerful money interests and the globalists. To be expected from a romneybot. In and of itself, it is difficult to see how someone can philosophically or theologically make the switch from Catholic to mormon and back to Catholic and not be doing so for facile political reasons. He has lot’s of ‘splaining to do.

The concept of out of many, one was not from the many countries or ethnic populations— never was conceived that way. While a nice way to think of the goal of legal immigration, the Latin was to describe we were/are a unity of States. With each State having their own rights and ways of doing things.

We do not have that currently. But it is easily gotten when one leaves the purported union.

Indeed the la raza crowd goes further than just “Mexico” the country regaining “stolen” land. It is far more than a re-visitation of the goals of Santa Anna (the Napoleon of the West) who was an emperor of Mexico.

No, now the raza people want it to be only for the indigenous peoples of Mexico in a new country amalgam with OUR lands, re-named Aztlan. Seriously.

True. Amnesty is just a campaign in the Aztlan conquest plan. There is much more at stake. Enter the UN and the anti-colonialists to set things “right”.

I don’t know what it’s going to take for conservatives to realise and admit that the Republican party has already been infiltrated, just like the military, Christian churches and orgs, the judicial system, and decades ago, the media and academia. It’s not underway, it’s done. The left has found infiltration to be a very easy and cost-productive tactic, and has used it tirelessly. It doesn’t take long, once the groundwork was laid by the so-called political right moving left on issues as the left moved ever leftward. Anyone who thinks that’s a far-fetched scenario, why? The left has been successful with infiltrating and eventually overturning or neutralising every institution which represented any kind of opposition to them. Why wouldn’t they finally do it with the Republican party, once that party had moved left enough to make it a comfortable fit for their “moderate” or “centrist” first infiltrators?

Exactly. A lot of folks are still blind to the fact that the Democrats have completed one of their biggest goals. The GOP has not forced the Democrats to compromise on major issues in a while, but the Democrats are doing a damn fine job of forcing the GOP to capitulate, I mean, compromise, on far too much. We have too many people who reach across the aisle these days and it's only getting worse.

It is easy for those in their ivory towers to be moved by this kind of thing; the rest of us are living amongst the masses, some good, some bad. The rest of us see it and live it, the ivory tower people are sheltered and playing their little games of chess.

And Republicans are more than happy to sing the praises of La Raza.

“Jennifer Rubin has always been in the pocket of the GOPe. She does not like tea partiers, either, believe me.”

Bingo. She’ll believe anything the party bosses tell her. Even when that changes from week to week.
