I'm going to disagree. he is not the enemy, but merely an enemy. Moreover, ascribing all of these recent revelations of government overreach to the executive is ignoring the Legislative and Judicial. The Judicial is, IMO, the most lawless, as they wrap themselves in legalisms and traditions (read precedence *spit*) to enact tyranny. Moreover the congress needs to be held to task for its own terrible actions.

That's rather likely, but do you think someone as arrogant, prideful, and narcissistic as Obama would let it sit with something so… passive? I'd think that the defiance would encourage him to act without thinking (or listening to others).

I don't think that things would (could, even) remain static with a governor or three showing some stones. One way or the other egos would get involved; and fortunately for us the Statists really have painted themselves into a corner.
