Earlier this year, Jeb Bush told ABC that both his father George H.W. Bush, and brother George W. recommended he run for president in 2016. Mama Barbara Bush is not keen on the idea, declaring in April that the nations probably had enough Bushes.
But in the constantly shifting equations of potential Republican hopefuls for future president and vice president, the former Florida governors name has been tied with another former governor: Sarah Palin.
The pair have now been framed as a the GOPs only chance in the race by American Thinker contributor Michael Sheppard.
Would Jeb Bush have as good a chance, or better, than any other prospective GOP candidate? Most certainly he might. As a popular governor of Florida, married to a Hispanic, and who garnered a good proportion of the Hispanic vote, Bush would be in a strong position to carry the state, he says, reasoning that Mr. Bush, as a southern governor, could also hold sway in Virginia and appeal to Iowa evangelicals and centrist voters in New Hampshire.
Should Hillary Clinton emerge as the Democratic candidate, it could also improve Mr. Bushs electability. Then there is the Palin factor, Mr. Sheppard says. She brings ardent fans with her, of course.
A Jeb Bush/president - Sarah Palin/vice-president ticket covers all the Electoral College, Evangelical, pro-life, centrist-conservative, experienced governorships, male/female bases, he notes.....

I’m sure Sarah Palin will do aok with fund-raising, when she runs.
Just saying.
:D The real question at this point is, what party?
I could care less who they pick anymore. Unless they start choosing Conservatives (will never happen) I will no longer vote for GOP candidates. I’ve learned my lesson.
No one has known that better than Mitt Romney in 2006, he went out and sewed up the big donors, formed a massive army of volunteers and power players, and during the primary, while commanding his army and spending millions, he even periodically injected portions of his own fortune, during fund raising breaks, to the tune of $45 million of his own money, along with many millions from others.
Huckabee and McCain had no money, no people, it was often just them almost alone, but they both beat Romney.
It is way way too early for this crap as Obama and the GOPe have not finished destroying the country yet. There might not even be a 2016 election.
Me either! It is way past time to make the Tea Party official.
If it is a 3rd party, it won’t matter. It might make you feel good, but the Hildebeast will win. If amnesty is passed, well, you know how that will work out.
Stay outta da Bushes!
All kinds of good-paying jobs here in Texas. If conservatives would come here, the Democrats’ dream of turning it blue through amnesty will never come to pass. I will personally help any FReeper or other conservative who wants to move here find a job.
She ran with McCain, I could overlook it. She runs with Jeb, she gets no vote of mine.
Not that I think she would run with Jeb. Or that he’d invite her to.
Well then we would have the real First American black President
Have you seen my tagline? Do you think I’m kidding or don’t know what I’m promising? I was the top fundraiser for the Polk County GOP and a presidential campaign in 1987-88. I raised over $40,000 for Fred Thompson in the short period he was running for the White House. There are tens of millions of other Americans behind Sarah Palin. There are hundreds of blogs and websites that focus and report on her actions.
In the end, they did not beat Romney. And none of them beat Obama, I will say Obama and the dem machine cheated, but that makes any job on our side more daunting because they perfected it. Face it, it takes big money and a big machine. Without it and a whole lot of media love, the battle is almost hopeless.
I am not a big Huck fan, but he might have faired better than Romney in 2012.
I figure Hillary will run, choose Evan Bayh and run as a moderate uniter. We know it would be BS, but the sheeple will buy it.
I suggest Cruz / Cloned Copy of Cruz.
Tain’t enuff and you know it. Do not be naive.
I disagree.
There are a LOT of people out in America who are just waiting for the right person to step up.
A lot of people, and a lot of money, are waiting.
In the end the GOPe will try for Bush/Rubio.............yes, they’re that dumb.
For my lifetime, yes, maybe a 3rd party is "futile." But what about my children, or their children? What if I help plant those seeds now? Who is to say that one of them won't be the Reagan of the future who turns things around for this country? At this point, that's all I really have, and I'm willing to pin my hopes on it.
The big money wants amnesty. That is why Rubio sold out. He knows he would need that big money in the end.
It is all sick, but it is the way it is.
The proof of the pudding is in the eating. We won’t know until she declares, will we? Look at all the people fed-up about the IRS, NSA, Benghazi, ObamaCare, gay marriage, the wussification and decimation of the armed forces, the constant apologies, the $100 million dollar junkets and vacations, Zimmerman, etc., etc. They’re just waiting for an outlet.
I think that Bush will win.
I don’t want him.
But I think that has been part of the plan all along.
