If it was used for shipping slaves, Obama relatives were there shipping them.

Let's not get stupid. The Obamas were on the other side of the continent.

How many slaves could a slave ship hold? How many slave ships were there? And how long did it take to bring slaves over from Africa to the Americas?

Please tell us some details, and then we can rally against those evil WHITE plantation owners who are still operating in east Africa!

If you should really want more details, that link in #14 is loaded with information the PC world would rather not hear about.

An unknown but very large number died during the voyage across the Atlantic.

Who was that idiot congress-critter who claimed that sharks remember the slave ships and still congregate on the shipping routes looking for more slaves to eat?

Study some history?

Sure. It’s in my family history book.

Like my GG uncle who voted for secession in the NC legislature.

I have his letters. There is no mention of ‘states rights’, only whether secession was a good idea, and why couldn’t the issue be negotiated.

He eventually voted for secession because he thought his people were for it. They didn’t like the Yankees telling them what to do.

Most of them didn’t own slaves. They just didn’t like the north.

Yeah. States rights, the Morril Tariff, slavery. All part of it.

And Southern independence with hard line stubbornness.

10-18 million black slaves were taken east by the Arabs.

I don’t think I’ve heard an apology for that yet.

What, no "Thank You" for creating some questions to allow you to get in more silly comments on globalism?

Okay, here is some more fodder for a diatribe...
What do you think of our country continuing support of the celebration of independence day (4th of July)?

It’s a good opportunity to rally the Republican voter.

If we can fix the Republican party, it will fix America.
