You are confusing the two cases. He wrote in the dissent in the DOMA case - that was the federal case. He sided with the majority in the California case - Prop 8 - that allowed gay Judge Walker’s ruling overturning the will of the people to go into effect.

Although he voted against Prop 8 by a stupid parsing of legality that the supporters of Prop 8 had no standing. Why is it that only conservatives or Christians or patriots are always ruled against as having “no standing”? If these were liberals, the man in the moon would be granted “standing”. Scalia spit in the face of 52% of the voters in CA who voted for Prop 8. Let’s just get on with CW II! We need 2 countries, one liberal & one conservative. I am sick to death of these RAT bastard liberals & homos & uzzlims & illegal aliens.
